You may look at this picture and say to yourself 'wow that's beautiful!' (Which it is, of course). But behind this was walking through pee smelling streets and random people shouting at each other, people using drugs, and sometimes naked butts ? I recently just learned from my dad that this was the neighborhood he stayed in when he first came to America! He said he used to chill here with his friends at night, wondering what opportunities would come in this foreign country. I love visiting sentimental places like this and imagining the feels my parents felt at the time. P.S. that van sorta ruined my picture, but let's pretend it ain't there ?
