Fresh out of the shower, no makeup? vs Makeup✅. As you can see, I don't wear much except the occasional eyeliner and mascara.(unless doing photoshoots or TV). One thing I do want to talk about, and something I get asked often is "how do you keep your skin clear". I'm going to tell you what works for me, because of course everyone is different. If there is ONE thing I love taking care of (besides general health), it's my skin. In high school I had terrible skin. I would try and cover it with makeup and my hair. It felt like it was oily AND dry at the same time. I had a lot of little pimples on my forehead which was so DRY and then big sore ones under my cheeks. I NEVER took photos of it because I was embarrassed. I only did something about it when my little cousin came up to me and said "everyone has nice skin and you got the bad skin in the family" (He was 10 years old) ? Here's a few things I did to fix my skin. I started using a cleanser for oily skin, just a generic dermo face wash(one that didn't dry out my skin) AND it was like $12 for a HUGE bottle at the time. I wash my face morning AND night AND moisturised it every time. My moisturiser changes, but I always make sure it has SPF 30+ sunscreen in it to protect my skin. I even wear it at night, haha. I stopped wearing foundation on my skin. I now use BB cream if I have to. Again, nothing fancy, it's about $12. I exfoliate my skin only once a week (because I don't wear makeup). I love using natural face masks! I have one called clear me skin. It's a powder you mix in with water (which means it doesn't have preservatives to keep it moist) ..and AGAIN, it's like $15 and makes my skin feel extra clean. I change my pillow case every 3-4 days. But remember, I wash my face every morning and night. If you don't wash your face, I recommend you change them more often. I drank more water - duh, no surprises there. I also started taking silica. You can just buy it from most chemists, it's for your hair, skin and nails :) that helped too! So! From itchy, sore, pimply skin, to this!! I'm REALLY happy with my skin and have been for about 3 years now ☺️ www.kaylaitsines.com/guides
