Cheers to 30 years! Today marks the anniversary of the arrival of our beloved Portlandia statue.
The 50-foot tall, copper woman floated down the Willamette River three decades ago and was dedicated by then-Mayor Bud Clark. Built in Washington DC, she's the second largest copper statue in country and is based on the seal of the city. #portlandia #portland #pdx
