Please join me in thanking Kickstarter for joining the fight to help those in need. The UNHCR (the UN's Refugee Agency) will receive all of the funding from this initiative and they frankly can use all of the help that they can get. With ALL of the UN refugee programs dangerously and disastrously underfunded, some to the tune of less than 40% of the amount requested/necessary, and the number of displaced persons the highest it has ever been on record, the time to act is NOW.
