Every time I take a picture of a flower I think it's SO cool in that moment and I'm so proud of myself for taking a picture of something that's not my own face or somebody else's face or some random funny thing or some group of people that I'm dyyying to show all of Instagram that I'm cool enough to be friends with or some food item that I consumed like a boss or.... Fill in the blank. (Basically, lots of pats on the back when I took this photo) But then I never look at the picture again and don't think it's worth posting because nobody will 'like' it because it's just a flower and it looks like I grabbed it off some stock photo site (I didn't, I swear, I took this shit straight up). Anyway, point being, this is beautiful just as it is, it didn't ask me to take it's photo or ask me to tag it or make me take 12 photos until I got the right angle and then tell me to put a good filter on it. No, it's just there, being beautiful and I am lucky enough to witness it.
I Hope you all have a beautiful Tuesday and that you take time to stop and smell (take a picture of) the roses (all flowers) today.
