Other than my dinner entree being the only one of twenty~one plates that was missing potatoes*, this was the weirdest part of my day.
I asked a woman if she could please take our picture and another woman, at the table in front of her yelled, "UM, WHAT? I JUST SAT DOWN TO EAT?!?! BUT OKAY??" And laughed at us and stood up and I was like "NO, ITS OKAY YOU SIT DOWN AND EAT YOUR FOOD," and then the original lady I asked quickly stood up and was like, so upset with the mean woman and showing us what a good person she was, "I WOULD LOVE TO TAKE YOUR PICTURE! I WOULD LOVE IT, STAND OVER HERE WITH THE SUN ON YOUR FACES!" The mean lady, who wanted to eat, watched on and we made these dumb faces. The police officer was deaf and missed all the drama. Though he did ask to see this shot and give approval. *Also, regarding the potatoes: I mentioned to the waiter my plate was missing the four small potatoes, and he very passive~aggressively brought out two giant bowls of potatoes and put them at the opposite end of my table. Today was a day full of POWER MOVES..
