Back when I was first progressing on a bodyboard a lot of my friends who surfed would pressure me, "When are you gonna step up to a real surfboard" But I stayed true to my passion and while they spent the years doing cutbacks at Huntington I turned pro and was getting barrels like this at Pipeline. If I wouldn't have stayed true to my passion I would have spent my life as a below average surfer riding less than average waves instead of experiencing moments like this.
