About the Shot: I needed to make some modifications on the rover for the long drive from the Hab to the Ares 4 site to get a ride back to Earth from my crew mates on the Hermes. @NASA designed these suits to have my #GoPro mounted over shoulder to get a unique perspective of my daily activities and experiments for the video log.
How the Shot was Captured: For missions outside, I shoot on a #HERO4Black in 4K, Color Flat, White Balance Native, Protune on, ISO 400, Sharpness Medium, EV Comp – 1. There is a lot of sun light here on Mars so I have to stop the camera down to compensate. I used GoPro Studio to extract a 4K still images to send back to #NASA.
