What an incredible honor it was to co-host the United Nations Environment Programme Champions of the Earth 2015 Award Gala. Listening to the stories that were told-trying to learn and absorb as much as I possibly could in every second during that four hour period was an unforgettable experience. To be surrounded by such visionaries and literal world changing activists who have been able to start something, or spark something- using whatever resources they have- fighting to come together to not only inspire but to educate the world was simply remarkable. Sure I was there to host, to use my voice in whatever capacity I could, but truly I was there to listen. Some subjects tackled surrounded issues I wasn't even aware existed, some surrounded issues I am so intensely passionate about. To the Black Mambas anti-poaching unit, you women rock my world. YOU are what the world needs- you are shining examples of what it means to use intelligence, fierce passion, and love- creating an unbreakable bond and promise to those animals and we will not let you down. We will stand with you. My mind is blown. I'll be dreaming about last night for the rest of my life and I can only imagine you all felt as inspired as I did. @UNEP #UNEPchampions
