I was watching the @patriots today and was thinking of how I wish I could have watched the game with my father. It's hard sometimes. I imagine us kicking back on my couch my dad with a beer me with a green juice (we were pretty different except being competitive where we were identical). It would have been a good day to chat with George about football, girls & business since a little of everything is circling my brain these days. He had simple strong advice sometimes. He had a good gut instinct.
This pic was taken in our kitchen on Wright St. in Arlington. I was 11. Yes our walls looked like we shrunk in a flower shop.
I loved my dad and you can see it here. It was before things got really rocky at home. It was before I had any real sense of self or direction. I only knew I loved my dad and I liked making him proud of me. Still do.
Go Pats George! Maybe I will crack open a beer for ya today. I can't say I will drink it but I'm gonna cheers to you! Thanks for my drive and my ability to see the big picture. Your son - Danger.
