Last night I had the great honor of sharing the stage with Koa, a 6 year old Ukelele player and singer, at a benefit for Rady Children's Hospital in San Diego. Last year Rady's served over 240,000 children in the greater San Diego area, a number equivalent to 25% of the areas total children! Koa dedicated his song to his brother who is living with Autism and received a standing ovation for his talent, heart and tenacity, when after the first line of the song he forgot the words... paused for a few moments and with everyone hanging onto their seats, remembered the next lined without panicking, picked up wear he started and rocked the rest of the tune!
