STORY TIME: about 5 years ago I worked at a call Center and got fired right before a cold Canadian winter (which means I needed a new job fast cause ain't nobody wanna be handing out resumes in the snow?❄️) SO I ran to the community Center and printed out 20 resumes at 10 cents each (which I really stole because Yo! Who's paying 10 cents for a piece of paper?! I ain't got no job!!?) anyway, I handed out resumes in the second largest mall in Toronto and got a Retail job at a lingerie store (pantie drawer on Fleeeek?☺️) needless to say, I HATED that job... I think out of all the jobs I had growing that was the most hated! I remember lining panties and bras by a colour scale.. And Then by size, to turn around, and a customer had already torn my display to pieces??? I rather go commando now? LOL I used to look at the girl on the wall and wish that could be me... anywayyy.. My pay checks were non existent because I was given about 3 shifts a week at minimum wage. I had to learn how to call my cell phone company and cry every month to have them chop that bill in half ?? the struggle was real people. Anyhow, my little sister and I are 10 years apart yet super close. I always promised her so much, buying her Jordan's, clothes, and little things like upgrades on her favourite games. Fast-forward to this year, I went shopping in that same mall I used to work at an there was a HUGE BILLBOARD of... Me???... Today my sister text me an said "remember you said when you get a better job you'll buy this for me" ????????? that put the biggest smile on my face! All the grinding (I didn't even speak on) that I went through in my life, it's paid off so far and it's still unbelievable to me that I live this life. I'm so grateful. Even when I have doubts I know God hasn't brought me this far to leave me ??❤️✨ and he's brought me a mighty long way!! Now excuse me while I fulfill my 4 year promise and make an app purchase for my baby sister @Chriissyy._ ???❤️ (and yes she gets her Jordan's now too.... Lol)
