I’m throwing a party. You know—a celebration of the changing of seasons, of a new year and all that jazz.
But before I meet my guests with hospitality and merriment, I have to first meet the crisp fall air and the state of my yard.
I survey the damage: a sea of orange and yellow leaves scattered as far as the eye can see.
I have guests arriving at the end of the hour; I have chicken that needs to be seasoned with 11 herbs & spices and fried; I have a yard that needs saving, but what I don’t have is time for dillydallying.
