#refugeeswelcome Thank you to the independent for starting this petition back home. It is so disappointing yet unsurprising to see David Cameron's response to the refugee crisis. Last night I was crying looking at these photos of the 3 year old Syrian boy washed up on the shore after drowning trying to escape his war torn country. I'm pretty overwhelmed by a lot of stuff right now especially after the meeting I went to last night. Europe might be at peace but we can't ignore the problems in the Middle East & Africa & the people seeking help & refuge. People who believe there is simply not enough room, you are being manipulated by fear. David Cameron must reflect the British People's spirits, who have been marching to protest/collecting & donating, demanding that Britain accepts it's fair share of refugees like the rest of Europe. I know this picture is disturbing, but people are dying in abject situations and that's the reality. The refugee crisis is a reality for the people fleeing their countries in extreme conditions that we are lucky enough not to even be able to imagine.
