Since I started traveling, I've been obsessed with the unattainable idea of the "perfect inflight outfit" - this isn't it, but it's pretty close. I'll explain. Sneakers because schlepping a bag through O'Hare in heels is never an option. @smartwool socks because women have garbage circulation and airplanes, even taking off from Phoenix in July, are always chilly. Scrunchable sweatpants @aritzia just in case the socks warm you up too much. The t shirt is @currentelliott because I'm traveling for 10 days straight and wearing a nice t shirt makes me feel like a fancy street urchin- also this one is a faux mesh so the little holes make it breathable. Sweatshirt is "a must" (God I hate that I sound like a fashion blogger) because it's that weird time of year where it's hot during the day and just chilly enough at night in a few of these states that I don't need a jaaaaacket. Also hoods make you feel safe and secluded- this one is thin enough from @alternativeapparel to go under this jean jacket I stole from a toddler. Tiny fitted jean jackets are great because you can almost wear them like shirts, got this one @aritzia in Calgary. Lastly, no comment has been told to me more than "I hate your sunglasses" but I've had these for four years and they are going nowhere! If you wear glasses/contacts- invest in a pair of expensive prescription sunglasses. The bigger the more they protect your sensitive under eye skin. They are great for letting people know you have class without having to put anything else nice on and the prescription allows you to wear them and not dry your eyes out with contacts on the plane. I'm not telling you the brand because that feels tacky. PRADA! PRADAPRADAPRADA! Jk, they aren't Prada. Hideous hat is a joke- bring it, don't bring it- no one trusts anyone in a flat brimmed hat and it makes you look like you dropped out of a 2 year college but oh well. Hats are great for covering bad hair but I always have bad hair and it's always in a bun, so I don't care, I'm an "artist" I'm messy because "I'm always preoccupied with my art." Lastly? A fresh dried Bebo- always at the ready. This accessory is great for distributing mercy.
