When I see one chair I imagine long hours spent there and a stream of words. Contemplation of beauty and hate. Stewing. Planning. Time away from everything. When I see two chairs I see hair that has turned grey thru commitment and time. Easy conversation. Silence as a cure. I see a life together just off the road. One that goes on living itself without any need of being seen. When I see those two chairs and a tiny chair next to it my heart melts. And weeps for the simple beauty of giving , creating and living in love. The gift of creating your own pulse of love out of the universe for another being to latch onto. I weep. I carry no chair to the riverside. And sit and am gone with the light.
