This picture is of my dad in a parking lot of the airport in yaounde Cameroon. He was leaving to boarding school in france to pursue his dream as a tennis player. He turned his back to his mother because he was crying only to see his grandfather staring right back at him. I can only imagine the courage it must have taken to leave your people, your culture, your family at 12 years old. My dad was away from his family for his entire childhood to be called champ. This picture gives me strength. #sacrifice #grind #proudofmydad
