Ilmari Tapiovaara’s Kiki Collection was designed in 1960 as the designer’s first furniture system, based on a metal tube of oval cross section. Kiki established a new and future oriented approach in furniture design, and became a favourite of Modernist architects in Finland during the 1960’s when choosing furniture for public spaces.
