What an incredible honor to be able to present an award to the brilliant and beautiful @lavernecox at the Television Industry Advocacy Awards. Her work and advocacy for the LGBTQ community is absolutely incredible and I can't think of a more deserving and well-suited person to be able to use their platform for creating social change. Laverne is a friend and an inspiration, and I can't describe how much it means to be that she asked me to present this award to her and even said I was a "great example of being a great friend and ally."
