Hiking to the top of Mushroom Rock was definitely tough work, but well worth the effort. At about 8,000 feet above sea level beyond what I'm used to, it was marginally embarrassing to see a 12 pound poodle outrun me to the summit. That being said, at least I didn't pass out at the top like all these goobers.
