"I'm an adult male, which means I'm outside of the typical demo for #OneDirection. So when I got the call from Rolling Stone to cover their show at MetLife Stadium, I was excited to do a big stadium show, but a bit tentative since I usually know the music I am covering, which helps me take better photos. What impressed me most was their ability to connect with the crowd, in a stadium full of 60,000 screaming fans. It's that connection that really makes or breaks a band when they play live. I've seen plenty of bands with amazing music who just can't do it. It would be easy for me to write them off as just a boy band. And sure, I am not jumping on iTunes to download their latest single, but damn if 'Story of My Life' was stuck in my head for three weeks after the show.
