We met our freshman year of college (she was assigned the dorm room next to mine), and immediately became friends. She had this infectious, feisty energy, was warm and inclusive, and when it came to the fun stuff, she was just "always down"...for anything (still is). She's since been my rock through the hardest of times, coaching me through long cries on the phone, spending the night when I've been too afraid to sleep alone, and giving me tough love when I've needed it most.
