Last year, this tiny elephant calf happily roamed the Masai Mara with her loving mother by her side, nursing and protecting her. Within hours, she was forced to say a painful goodbye after a poacher’s poison arrow took her mother’s life. Roi was rescued by @dswt at 10-months-old, in desperate need of a new family, milk, and the nurturing touch from the DSWT keepers.
