The 2011 passing of the immensely popular Gary Speed – Wales’ most-capped outfield player & their then-manager – devastated British football. When @lufcofficial next hosted another one of the No11’s former clubs @エヴァートンFC, from the 11th minute onwards, both sets of supporters chanted Speed’s name for a full 11 minutes in a memorable tribute. Speed would have turned 46 today. He would also be very proud of his beloved #Dragons, who are on the verge of qualifying for their first major tournament since the 1958 FIFA #WorldCup.
