#TSAGoodCatch - These are just five of the 12 inert/replica grenades that were discovered last week. From the left, the pictured grenades were discovered at DAL, ORF, TPA, and the last two at ORF. These grenades look real on the X-ray monitor and TSA officers must call explosives detection professionals to inspect the items, which can cause checkpoint closures and lead to missed and delayed flights. Grenades, inert or otherwise, are prohibited from both carry-on and checked bags.
