Aaaaaand in first place we present the epic Joker/Venom mashup by the extremely talented @jdotjam. Not only did he create this awesome piece, but Jaime also imagined a universe for the character, drawing comic strips where he meets his nemesis Wolverine Hulk. It was just a joy to see his creativity shine throughout the competition. We were looking for creativity, passion, skill and fun and @jdotjam delivered in abundance. Make sure you stop by his page to see what we are talking about, this could honestly be a new comic universe (if DC and Marvel were happy to do a crossover ?).
You will have also probably noticed @jdotjam's name popping up on the comments section of so many of the entries, he has been hugely positive and very encouraging to fellow artists, this too was greatly appreciated, and just showed how much Jaime embraced the spirit that we were hoping for with the comp.
So congrats @jdotjam you have earned a $300 gift certificate on digital art books from @illustratedmonthly, along with 4 physical books. As well as a be original, buy original" t-shirt from @the_isi_group.

We want to give a big thanks to fellow judges @afjelnseth, @banethedog and @whilesheburystomorrow for helping me (@richburnsred_art) narrow down the list of incredible artwork to the final three. It was as you can imagine a very difficult task. But I'm sure you will all agree we have three worthy winners here. So thanks again guys!

I know that there will be some disappointed feelings out there amongst all those that took part, and I understand how much hard work so many of you have put into your submissions, all the hours spent...we really thank you for this effort, this passion! It hasn't been wasted. We are going to be featuring artwork created for the #acmhero competition for some time. So we will try and support as many of you as we can. You have given us so many epic pieces to enjoy.
