Today this beautiful angel went to heaven. I breathed his final breath along with him. He taught me so much about perfect love, patience, forgiveness and acceptance. He taught me that hikes are fine, but they're way better with a friend who when he relieves himself, celebrates like its his birthday. He taught me that in hardest of times, we were still worth unconditional love, despite all efforts of the world to prove otherwise. He wanted to teach me that food out of the garbage was just as good as food anywhere else, but I just took his word for that. He taught me that when I believed I was so alone, I just wasnt, so I had to knock off the self pity routine. He taught me far too much to list, and in his passing, he has taught me that nothing matters as much as love, and savoring every moment, good and less good on this crazy spinning ball. I miss you Jake. I'll always miss you. But thank you for teaching me so much. I can't wait to show you what a good student I've been.
