I want to share a few things with you about me as a personal trainer. I know a lot of personal trainers follow me and probably want to know a little about what I do and how I trained my clients. So, here it is... ?I charged my clients well below industry standard rates for a half an hour session. I charged a lower rate so I could give EVERYONE an opportunity to train. I chose to do personal training because I loved it and because I loved helping people. ?Talking with friends about weekend plans is for BEFORE or AFTER the session. When my clients trained with me, it was about Training and advice. They came for a workout not for a chat about their weekend.? I always said 5 burpees for every minute they were late. This not to punish them, but because I want them to do the best possible, which means being there for every minute of the session and focussing as much on their goals as I'm focussing on them too.?10 burpees for saying "I can't". You are NOT allowed to say "I can't" in any of my sessions. You CAN say ".... This is hard" or "I'm finding this extremely difficult Kayla"... But not 'I can't'. This is because as soon as you say "I can't" your mind starts to give up! If it becomes too hard, we modified it to make it simpler and start working up towards those very hard things.?Discipline is key. I taught my clients to be on time, to concentrate on themselves and their goals when they are training and NOT get distracted, to never doubt themselves and to ALWAYS work hard.
