“This is the happiest day of my life: I am traveling to Saudi Arabia to join my dad who works there. The only way for me to leave #Gaza is through the Rafah crossing with Egypt; for the past two years, many people have been waiting to cross as it was open only for a few days. My family and I have been trying to leave for one year; now our turn has come, we are ready to cross. It will probably take us 15 hours to make it to the other side. It is hot, humid and crowded but I’m happy to have this chance. I am holding my billiard cues so they won’t break.
