On these vacations my hubbie loves to go brook fishing chasing the brooks and lunching on the side of the brook. I have memories come up as we enter nature this way. Today I remembered waiting tables at Earls on 10th in Vancouver. I would often have a baby on my hip or a toddler under foot giving a couple a few moments of child free eating cause honestly I've always been kid crazy.i had regular families sit in my section, little boys would bring me special drawings. One night a regular family I knew sat in my section but instead of the usual family of 4 it was the mama and her son solo. She told me they did this monthly so that she could have one on one time and so she could teach him about ordering and basically how to be a gentleman..
I thought of them today as my eldest cleared a broken tree branch out of my way so I wouldn't trip.... Honestly I'm humbled everyday as a mother ::
