Every day should be #WomensEqualityDay but as we still need a designated day to focus on this issue then I'm honouring it! Sometimes it seems like so much progress is being made for women in the world.People say to me all the time " but isn't it the best time for women ever ?" That may be so, but look where we started from . There is so much more to change & even as we address the glaring & tangible issues like the pay gap & abortion rights, it is the unspoken prejudice , the global mindset and belief system,ingrained culturally that is the hardest to shift. I am so grateful for all the women and girls who share their stories with me on my shows and in person. Please continue to be a #Gamechanger in your communities and have those hard conversations that often make us so unpopular, it is only through our actions and making our voices heard that #TrueEquality can exist !
