Great story telling comes through,truth,great story and dope actors to covey it.These young men were stars! NWA-I understand you now.I only got parts of your story before.Ice Cube I always appreciated because I always felt he was a stand up guy and also because he was a GEMINI(yeah a bit bias?) but honestly the entire movie I could relate to.I connected to Ice Cube's & Dr.Dre's characters the most because I saw pieces of myself.Every actor showed UP.We went to a VIP movie with food,drinks and recliner chairs.We were blown away to see the diversity in the theatre! It was like 6 black people in a packed theatre and we were the 4 out of the 6?? #DOPENESS And that's what it's all about.A black film's audience should be colorful.A great movie is just that-a great movie.#straighouttacompton is a #CLASSIC!! I was so proud and happy for everyone but even more so for my friends & family from the WEST COAST. @icecube Salute! You are so DOPE.I have a new(er) RESPECT for you. @fgarygray you're AMAZINGLY GIFTED.Salute to everyone who had a hand in this beautiful piece.Thank you-I laughed,got angry & I cried.
