Sometimes you need to go through what you go through, to learn and grow as a better and stronger human being. I have loved with every little bit of my heart, and I have been patient and understanding with every little part of my soul.
But sometimes the hardest thing to do, is to love YOURSELF. We are brutal to ourselves. And I haven't been that kind to myself for the past year and a half.
I lost all sense of self-love, self-worth, and self confidence. It was excruciatingly painful to hide behind my smile everyday. I wanted to protect my friends and family, as well as my privacy, so I just kept on smiling.
But the big lesson I've finally been able to learn is... that I am worthy. That I am beautiful, talented, and kind. That I am... going to be okay.
Sometimes people change... a lot. And that's alright, because that's life. And I am so proud that for 6 years, I've been the most loving, loyal, supportive friend anyone could ask for. But I have learned that I am the only one in control of my own happiness. And I cannot blame anyone for my own issues or sadness.
So here I am, today. A new start. A new me.
I am happy. And excited for the future. I want to smile brightly, love bravely, and work damn hard for my career!!
Thank you to all my friends who rode this rough ride with me for so long. You've all held my hand and wiped my tears every. single. day.
It took me a while. But I'm here now. Finally moving on, flippin' the page to a new chapter!
