Just needed an excuse to post this shot of #ButtonsKaluhiokalani (my first #FavoriteSurfer) and that classic heat that just went down between #MyTwoFavoriteSurfers, @ジョン・ジョン・フローレンス and @ガブリエル・メディーナ gave me a good excuse. That was one of the best heats I think I've ever watched and instant leader for #HeatOfTheYear award. Gonna be hard to match that back and forth battle and only someone with Gabriel's desire, competitive skill and raw talent could've come back against that performance of JJF. I think it could easily have gone either way and been fair. Too bad anyone had to lose. #ThatWasSick #CantTheyBothAdvance?
