I believe being a parent is one of the most selfless and important things a human can do. I also think not raising a total shit head because you don't understand social decency is just as important. The fucking Dad was playing CATCH with a water bottle across the aisle with this 3 year old, so of course he was dropping it every time. So between water bottles flying down the aisle and intermittent screams "just cuz"- I felt like a rat in a cage (a really cute rat in a luxury cage... Legs are the same length in this metaphor and in real life) And yes, when you pay more you are paying for just that- more. Just as you would be upset if you paid for an expensive hotel and there were drunk teenagers partying across from your room all weekend. At a certain price point, sorry but you are paying for an experience, not just food. Anyone who doesn't understand that is a fucking moron and I can't help that your life experiences haven't provided you with that sort of understanding. Making this a rich vs poor thing smacks of unoriginality and makes this something it isn't. In lieu of sleep I chose to watch the following: Grey Gardens (I had seen the original and this one was pretty great), an episode of Modern Family, always great and Dumb and Dumber To, which is, without contest, the absolute biggest piece of shit ever created. If the idiot parents sitting in front of me were a movie? They'd be Dumb and Dumber To.
