I went to pick up this momma and her babies yesterday to foster, and thankfully there was a wonderful vet that was volunteering her time and offered to run a series of tests before I brought her home with me. Unfortunately, she tested positive for feline leukemia virus (FeLV), and her and her babies are unable to be adopted out. My heart is broken, and I'm searching for any kind of kitty sanctuary that is willing to take her in as I cannot bring her into our home and possibly risk infecting our cats. If anyone has any suggestions please leave a comment here and I'll research. Thank you guys.
