yesterday I got to celebrate my first #1 with the people that made it happen. I talked about how as dreamers we spend so much of our lives looking forward to the goals we've set for ourselves, but that in that moment I started looking back...to the times I sat in big offices starry eyed at 14 and was told I should move to Nashville, to the people I met, the places I've played, and the sometimes dull stars that aligned and burned bright and made this milestone happen. It's such a journey. And while I'm looking forward to so much, looking back has never looked so beautiful.
