"Meowmy?" Said Hermes to me as I was stretched out on the windowseat trying not get distracted by the kitty activity around me, and focus on reading my book. "May I ask you a question?"
"Sure, darling," I answered, looking down into a pair of hazel eyes that brimmed with hope.
"Do you think I could be a meowdel... some day?"
"Of course, my love. You can be anything you want – anything at all!"
Hermes takes a moment to absorb this, then says brightly, "OK! Can I start by having a few shots taken for my pawt folio, please?"
And like any other pet parent would have done, I happily obliged.
