tattoo representing “pendulation”—a trauma recovery term to imply life getting me into the “red zone” and then---calming and grounding through multiple resources (mine are sauna, massage, meditation, breath work, “parts” work…to name a few) so that i can get back to the “calm” zone. my nervous system has been red-lining for way too long, and this symbol, to keep my eye on the prize is great. the sticks implying nature, my one DIRECT way to connect and stay grounded. and infinity to imply the ongoing perfect imperfection and impermanent quality of this journey. #lantzhuston @shoeboxtattoo
