Pumpernickel - I baked it again. Beta version contains freshly milled rye flour, freshly cranked rye chops, grated old pumpernickel, sprouted rye berries and whey as a part of liquid. This time I wrapped pullman pan in an aluminum foil to trap all the moisture then cooked it in 200 degrees for 12 hours. The taste is incredible, so as texture - so moist! I love fluffly breads, but if I had to choose, pumpernikel would be my spirit bread ;) #50shadesofrye #ryehigh #pumpernickel #
