About 8 years ago - Dj Rogers Jr aka @pentorious went through a nasty divorce and got IN the studio with 10 time Grammy award winning producer Warren Cambell aka @warryncampbell (( me and WC were BOTH born at Martin Luther King Hospital in Watts)... and they wrote a smash that has ALREADY changed MY life called #SHAME that moment when you realize that some of greats come OUT of Watts and Inglewood ( Dj is from Inglewood ) Ca - i will never forget the night DJ played this song for me - I stayed calm and KEPT MY COMPOSURE I was so blown away by SHAME I knew it was a HIT from the first listen.... ( you know how you go into a house that you KNOW you want and you have to stay calm..?? Hahahahhaa that's what happened with this song- it was so amazing and so special I couldn't believe he wanted to pass it off - it's current #2 on Billboard on only 6 weeks and helped me get my first #1 R&B album and first #1 on the TOP 200 on Billboard.... #LifeChanging it took me 8 days to record this song cause when I broke up with my girl of 5 years I was so emotional and it was SO real to me I couldn't get it out - ( and DJ sang the shit out of the reference )...
