#204 (it was after midnight so this counts) Lots of my friends know One of my all time favorite artists and super duper inspirations is Janis Joplin. I pretty much have read all the books and seen all the documentaries on her life and music. Last night I went to see A Night With Janis Joplin (a musical about her and her inspirations). I went to support my dear friends and in turn end up meeting JANIS' BROTHER!!! Michael Joplin. It was amazing to have a little of his time, talk about his sister and then he let me geek out and take a picture. I know, it's not Janis...but it's the closet I'll ever get and it was kinda surreal.
