SHAME is a dramatic musical short film about a struggling 1968 soul singer ( Lionel Jacobs played by Tyrese Gibson who's married to his background singer Bobbi Ann Jacobs played by Oscar award winning actress Jennifer Hudson they have a family with 2 kids, they perform every night at a nightclub in Detroit Lionel starts garnishing a lot of local popularity from his voice and live stage presence then becomes mentally, spiritually and physically abusive towards his wife with his power - drinking, drugs and we later discover that Lionel is caught up in a love triangle with between his wife and one of his other background singers Mary Ann Atkins played by Brely Evans
