89/100: trying new things :: first time using my Tiger brush pen (thank you so much again @maccymacx!!!). It's no secret that I love me a good brush pen and this one did not disappoint. No bleed-through and smooth as buttah. For me, every instrument holds its own essence and "feel" and influences how I create. This is part of why I highly value and have respect for each tool that I own regardless of how fancy or simple. It's not just a marker or pencil or pen. Each has its own soul and together we explore and discover and uncover something new with each piece. Each sketch or doodle is an adventure, an expression, a glimpse. I never want to lose this sense of wonder when I open my notebook or tablet or canvas. The ability to create and colour are among the sweetest gifts of each day. ✨

This particular piece is Part 1 of work-in-progress. I felt really free in my doodle zone with this Tiger brush pen. There's something really unfussed and light (and it is actually very light in weight too) with each stroke. It felt like recess in a spacious playground where I could just run wild and free. In other words, I love this thing. And it is officially among my favourites. Massive thumbs up for Tiger brand. ????? • • • side note: I just noticed on the back of the package for this Tiger brush pen is a quote from Gandalf The Grey!!! "A wizard is never late, nor is he early. He arrives precisely when he means to." Just WOW. • • • •
