Nina Simone!!! I just wrote a poem called "Don't die before you die"... We stand on the shoulders of the greats who was NEVER comfortable yet they still had to fight through racial barriers and boundaries to get their gifts HEARD!!! Our struggle is real today... But it's NOTHING compared to what we come from in black music... This is my message to new and established artist... Most these days are seeking motivation and inspiration - you have to spend a LOT of time with God and yourself thinking and processing your life and inner layers... Seek and find the joy and sunshine within.... Ask God to re-waken the creative BEAST inside of you... I'm always worried and concerned about people who "die before they die".... Die in hope, Die in love, die in goals, die in being BOLD and unapologetic, die in ambition.... Die in creativity, I hope and pray that you start loving yourself enough today to decide to NOT DIE before you DIE!!!! If you don't fight or believe in yourself NO ONE ELSE WILL.. I'm already celebrating your success and all amazing things to come for you...: change your MIND and it's going to change your LIFE!!! #BlackRoseMission
