In September it will be ten years since this picture of @オードリー・ゲルマン and me was taken- in the streets of Oberlin, Ohio. We didn't yet know just how cold the winters there would get or just how terrible some boys would be or the pressures that tug on the sleeve of a long term female friendship. Mostly, we were just excited to be wearing vintage jeans from Unique Thrift in Cleveland and acting far more adventurous than we were and riding our bikes without helmets (wear helmets!) and talking about everyone like they were monsters. Because everyone is a monster when you're eighteen and they're not your best friend. Nothing has changed except everything. I love you Audrey.
