Delicious Schmorgurken Risotto today at @kantineneun for lunch - no idea how to translate Schmorgurken, it's basically braised cucumber. The cucumber used is smaller and thicker, its colour is lighter, even yellow with a sturdy peel, that you'd remove before eating. Also, you wouldn't eat them raw. They're in season from now til end of September.
