"Jo described Harry's eyes as green, and so we wanted Dan to wear contacts to turn his blue eyes green. The first day, we were filming, ...Dan's eyes were really watering and bloodshot. He seemed to be having an allergic reaction to the contacts. We then tried to digitally alter the color of Dan's eyes, but it looked artificial and would have distanced the audience from the character.
