This Christmas cactus my most prized possession is over 60 years old. It belong to my great grandfather Bennett Skaggs. He was a Kentucky born midwestern farmer. It's said people traveled from all around the county just to partake in his sweet wight onions and is handpicked wild black walnuts. He raised 500 Plymouth rock chickens every season. One of the same breed I tend to today. This good man with green hands I placed his spirit atop the coop looking over the garden so he may watch over me and the hens. Love you Papaw.
