Yosemite National Park is one of the most beautiful and special places I have spent time in. It is obvious why when you drive into the valley and see the epic landscape, but it's almost not enough for me to just see these spectacular monolith formations. There is part of me that feels the need to touch them, be up on them experiencing their beauty. This was part of the intrigue for me when @senderfilms and @bigupclimbing, along with @coreyrichproductions, were asked to help @googlemaps create the first vertical street view on the most iconic wall in the park El Capitan. Not everyone will get the chance (or want to) scale these huge granite faces but this amazing imagery we collected will allow for anyone in the world to get a virtual taste of what it feels like play on these walls. I took this photo hanging from a rope half way up El Capitan during our mapping project. - @brettlowell
